Sobrarbe, a natural paradise

Over 50% of our region is included in any official figure of protection of the environment, information that gives an idea of ​​the wealth of the natural heritage of this land and good conservation status of habitats.

Here we find alpine meadows and lush forests in the high valleys, where water is always present in the form of jumping waterfalls and gorges, and Ordesa, Pinewood, Bujaruelo or Chistau Valley; immense peaks of Monte Perdido, and Posets, where survive the latest extensions of glaciers classified as Natural Monuments; and the valleys of Añisclo and Escuaín, chiselled by the waters of rivers and Yaga Bellos.
